Don Bosco Foundation

We are committed to the defense of Human Rights and Children’s Rights as the rights of every human being. We defend equality between men and women as a fundamental right that must be guaranteed in all areas of life and we denounce all types of discrimination and violence based on gender.

The Don Bosco Foundation is governed by a Code of Ethics and has an anti-fraud and corruption Policy, Code of Conduct for good treatment, Protocol for good treatment, Equality Plan and Protocol against workplace sexual harassment, with the aim of promoting corporate ethics on the part of all people who relate to the entity in the exercise of its activity.

We are a certified entity with an Internal Protection System for boys, girls, adolescents and people in vulnerable situations.

We have a quality management system certified by Eduqatia in accordance with the UNE-EN ISO 9001:2015 standard.

We are active members of the Spanish Association of Second Chance Schools and we have six accredited E2Os.

Scope of the Internal Protection System

People assisted, hired, volunteers or related to the execution of projects and services of the Foundation that promote the promotion and full development of children, adolescents and youth in situations of social inequality and other groups that are in a situation of vulnerability in Andalusia, Extremadura and the Canary Islands.

Board of Trustees of the Foundation

It is the supreme decision-making body of the Don Bosco Foundation. It is chaired by the Vicar of the Salesian Provincial of the Salesian Mary Help of Christians Province and is made up of ex-officio officials from its Provincial Council and people with positions of responsibility in the foundation.

Boards of Directors of the Foundation

It has an executive nature, is chaired by the General Director and is made up of the people who manage the different areas of activity and those who carry out the territorial management.

Protection Comittee

The protection commission will be permanently made up of the General Directorate of the entity, who presides over it, the person designated as responsible for protection, the management of the human resources area, the administration directorate and the project design and development directorate.

Commission for Attention to Sexual and Gender-Based Harassment

It will be made up of two technical people, in which at least one of them will be the person who manages the Human Resources area, and two others will be the legal representation of the workers. If this does not exist, the Don Bosco Foundation will designate one person from the direct care staff and another from middle management.
