Board of Trustees
of Don Bosco Foundation
The board is the supreme decision-making body of the Don Bosco Salesianos Social Foundation. It is chaired by the Vicar of the Salesian Provincial of the Salesian Province of Mary Help of Christians and is made up of ex-officio officials from its Provincial Council and people with positions of responsibility in the foundation.
José Luis Navarro Santotomás
President
Salesian priest, Provincial Vicar of the Salesian Mary Help of Christians Province. Graduate in Philosophy from the UNED (Madrid), Graduate in Humanities from the UJI (Castellón), Graduate in Theology from the Faculty of Theology of Catalonia (Barcelona), and Master’s Degree in Secondary and Baccalaureate Teaching from the UA (Alicante). He has worked as a teacher in several schools, as a volunteer in different Youth Centers and has been a teacher and Director of the Don Bosco Youth Animation School in Valencia. He has been Director of the Salesian house of Villena, Counselor of the Mary Help of Christians Province and Coordinator of Missionary Animation.
Jordi Lleixá y Jané
Vicepresident
Salesian priest, Provincial Delegate of Youth Ministry of the Salesian Mary Help of Christians Province. Graduate in Physical Sciences, Bachelor in Theology and qualified as a Social Educator. He has been director of the Barcelona Martí-Codolar Social Platform, director of the Sarrià Vocational Training school, director of the Salesian houses of Terrassa and Horta, and coordinator of the Salesian youth centers at the state level.
Marco Antonio Vázquez Fernández
Treasurer
Salesian priest, Provincial Treasurer of the Salesian Mary Help of Christians Province. He studied Industrial Technical Engineering in the branch of Structures and Facilities and a Bachelor’s Degree in Theological Studies. He is the patron of the Bosco Global Foundation. He has been Director of the “Santo Domingo Savio” School in Úbeda, Salesianos Linares and the Salesiano School “San Ignacio” in Cádiz.
Joan Valls i Ferrer

Salesian priest, Coordinator of the Social Platforms of the Salesian Mary Help of Christians Province. Graduated in Law and qualified as a Social Educator. He has been Director of the Communities and Social Platforms of La Mina, Girona and Lleida.
Ignacio Vázquez de la Torre Prieto
Board member
Degree in Economics and Business Administration. Technical Secretary of the Don Bosco Foundation from 1998 to 2003. General Director of the Don Bosco Foundation from 2005 to the present. President of the Spanish Association of Second Chance Schools. Professor of Economic Policy at the Department of Economics, Finance and Accounting of the University of Córdoba. He has been an auditor at Deloitte. Founder and President for 12 years of the Andalusian Employers’ Association of Social Entities (APAES)..
Francisco Manuel Estellés Pérez

Diploma in Social Work from the Institut Catòlic D’Estudis Socials of Barcelona. Social educator. President of the State Coordinator of Salesian Social Platforms. General Director and Head of the Human Resources Area of Salesians Sant Jordi. He has been treasurer of Associació AMIC’s and member of the L’Observatori dels Drets de la Infància a Catalunya.
